Not every community in Comal County is big enough for a page of its own. We still move there, and the ground is different in each one.
- Sattler: Sits at the bottom end of Canyon Lake, just below Canyon Dam, where the Guadalupe comes back out and the tubing outfitters line FM 2673. Lake houses here often have a short, steep drive and a deck between the truck and the front door, so we work the walk out beforehand.
- Fischer: Up on Ranch Road 32, the Devil’s Backbone, on the ridge between Wimberley and Canyon Lake. Long views, narrow shoulders and properties set well back off the road, which is why we pick the truck that fits the driveway instead of the biggest one in the yard.
- Spring Branch: Strung along US 281 between Bulverde and Blanco, with acreage off Rebecca Creek Road and the Guadalupe running below it. Gates, cattle guards and long gravel drives are normal out here, and they are worth mentioning when you call.

Can you handle a lake house with a steep or narrow driveway?
Yes, and it helps to tell us when you call. We look at the approach, where the truck can sit and the walk from the tailgate to the door, then set the truck size and crew to match. Shuttling in a smaller vehicle is normal on the tighter lake roads.
